The nearest airport to Antalya Old Town is Antalya Airport (AYT). Upon arrival, you can choose between several transportation options to reach the Old Town.

  • Airport Shuttle: HAVAS shuttles run between the airport and the city center. From there, Kaleiçi is a short taxi ride or a 15-20 minute walk.
  • Car Rental: Car rental agencies are located at the airport for those preferring to drive to the Old Town.
  • Public Bus: The public bus line 600 runs from the airport to the bus terminal in the city center. From there, take the tram or a bus to Kaleiçi.

By Road

If you're driving to Antalya Kaleiçi, it's well-signposted from any given point in the city. Parking can be scarce within the Old Town; it's often best to park outside and walk in.

By Sea

Antalya is also accessible by sea, with cruise ships docking at Port Akdeniz. From here, tourists can take a taxi or a public bus to Kaleiçi.

Within Antalya, you can use the nostalgic tram which runs from the Antalya Museum to Kaleiçi and has several stops along the way. Public buses also serve the Old Town, making it easy to reach from various parts of the city.

There is no direct train service to Antalya; however, travelers can take a train to nearby cities like Burdur or Isparta and from there continue by bus to Antalya.
