The temple is dedicated to the folk deity and 14th-century ruler, Baba Ramdev. It is one of the most significant pilgrimage sites in the region, attracting devotees from all over the country, especially from the Marwar region of Rajasthan and neighboring Gujarat state. According to the legends, Baba Ramdev was a saint who possessed supernatural powers and his followers included people from both Hindu and Muslim communities. Every year during August-September, a large fair known as Ramdevra Mela is organized in his honor, attracting millions of pilgrims. The temple's architecture is a blend of Rajasthani and Muslim styles, reflecting the secular nature of Ramdev's teachings. The shrine houses the resting place of Baba Ramdev and features exquisite carvings and ornamentation.

The atmosphere is very nice.. we reach the temple and there was very less crowd.. it is said that during mela at least 80k to 1Lakh people visit the temple...
