By Air
- Internal flights within Bhana can take you closer to Punakha. The nearest airstrip is in Bumthang, from which Punakha is a drive away.

The last stretch to Chimi Lhakhang must be done on foot. It is a leisurely 30-minute walk through the fields and the village of Sopsokha, starting with a short distance from the main road.
