Best Time To Visit Connaught Peak (Mahabaleshwar) In 2026 - 2027

Best Time to Visit Connaught Peak, Mahabaleshwar

The ideal time to visit Connaught Peak in Mahabaleshwar is during the winter months from November to February. During this period, the weather is cool and pleasant, making it perfect for trekking up to the peak and enjoying outdoor activities. The daytime temperatures hover around 10°C to 24°C, ensuring a comfortable climb with clear skies that provide stunning panoramic views of the verdant valleys and sparkling water bodies from the vantage point. Moreover, the lower humidity levels ensure that the paths are less slippery and the overall environment is more favorable for tourists.

However, if you're someone who enjoys the lush greenery that comes after the monsoon, the months immediately following, particularly September and October, are also a good time to visit. The landscape is refreshed and vibrant, though you should be prepared for occasional post-monsoon showers. The monsoon season itself, from June to September, brings heavy rainfall, which can hinder trekking activities and obscure the views due to fog and mist. Hence, it is less recommended for a visit to Connaught Peak. Keep in mind that summers, from March to June, can be quite warm but offer clear views and fewer tourists, suitable for those looking to avoid the peak tourist seasons.
