Deeg Palace, a historical fortification situated in the town of Deeg in Bharatpur district of Rajasthan, India, is known for its beautiful gardens, elaborate waterworks, and a collection of palatial buildings. Constructed by Raja Suraj Mal in the 18th century, the palace served as the summer resort for the rulers of Bharatpur. The architecture is a blend of Mughal and Rajasthani styles, and the palace is set amidst gardens and fountains which add to its beauty. The most significant structures within Deeg Palace include Gopal Bhavan, Keshav Bhavan – the monsoon pavilion with a water channel that runs through its corridors, Nand Bhavan, Kishan Bhavan, and the intricately designed water tanks that served the playful purpose of monsoon celebrations. The fort's large ramparts also offer a panoramic view of the city and the countryside around it.
