Deepor Beel Wildlife Sanctuary Tourism

Deepor Beel Wildlife Sanctuary, situated to the southwest of Guwahati in Assam, is a permanent freshwater lake and a Ramsar site that boasts a vast area of wetlands. Covering an area of approximately 40 square kilometers, the beel (lake in Assamese) plays a significant role in maintaining the ecological balance of the region.
