Dera Baba Banda is a revered Sikh shrine located in the Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir, India. Situated on the bank of the mighty Chenab River, the shrine holds immense historical and religious significance for the Sikh community. It is dedicated to Baba Banda Singh Bahadur, one of the most respected Sikh warriors and a disciple of the tenth Sikh Guru, Guru Gobind Singh. Constructed over three centuries ago, the Gurudwara is a beautiful white structure surrounded by lush greenery. It contains the preserver of the warrior's ashes and features a large complex that includes a Langar hall where free meals are served to visitors. It also houses weapons and artifacts that date back to the time of Baba Banda Singh Bahadur. The serene environment and spiritual atmosphere of Dera Baba Banda attract not just Sikhs, but also people from other faiths who come to pay homage to the great warrior saint.

A beautiful place!
A very nice place. Full of scenic beauty. One can spend good time there. It's in a 7 -10 km distance from Katra.

Hidden place
Takes a long drive from Katra, road is in bad condition, not treated in many places. Still great trip if the weather is nice and you have good local driver.
