Shiv Khori Cave Temple is a revered shrine dedicated to Lord Shiva, located in the Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir, India. The holy cave is situated amidst lush green hills, creating a serene environment for pilgrims and visitors. This natural cave is over 150 meters long and features a naturally formed Shiva lingam. The cave’s narrow entrance leads to a spacious cavern where stalactites and stalagmites merge, forming the sacred Shiva lingam. The inner sanctum of the cave represents the divine trinity of Hinduism – Brahma, Vishnu, and Mahesh – with the addition of the goddess Parvati. Legends suggest that Lord Shiva revealed himself to a shepherd in the cave, who was searching for his missing goat, making it a significant place of worship. Devotees from across the country come to Shiv Khori to seek blessings and witness the divine representation of Lord Shiva in the form of the lingam.

WONDERFUL AND DIVINE
Its a place worth visiting. A steady climb of 5 km. You can take a horse ride or a palki but walk if you can. The caves are just amazing, and the the interiors are magnetic in their spirituality.
