Sanjichhat is a scenic viewpoint located in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir in India. It's a popular halt for pilgrims on their way to the holy shrine of Mata Vaishno Devi. Situated at an altitude of around 6200 feet above sea level, it offers breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding valleys and the majestic Himalayas. Visitors can experience a sense of tranquility and spirituality amidst the natural beauty. The site is accessible by foot, pony rides, or by the helicopter service that operates between Katra and Sanjichhat. It's often considered one of the toughest stretches in the trek to Vaishno Devi as it involves a steep ascent. However, the picturesque scenery and the cool, crisp mountain air make the challenging climb worthwhile. Once at the top, visitors are rewarded with a serene environment and an up-close look at the diversity of the Himalayan fauna and flora.
