Don Bosco Museum Tourism

Don Bosco Museum, located in Shillong, Meghalaya, India, is an ethnographic museum which provides a glimpse into the rich and diverse cultural tapestry of the North Eastern states of India. Spread over seven floors, this museum houses multiple galleries, each dedicated to a different aspect of the indigenous cultures, including lifestyle, agriculture, art, crafts, attire, weapons, and religious practices. The museum's unique, hexagonal structure offers panoramic views of the surrounding area from the skywalk on the rooftop. The cultural display, artifacts, and art exhibitions showcase the heritage and traditions of the tribal groups from each of the Seven Sister States. The museum not only preserves the past but also serves as a center for cultural research and studies.
