Two Way to reach
The temple can be reached by walking through the narrow bylanes or by taking an auto, and it is also accessible by boat. We opted for a boat ride at Vishram Ghat, and the boat dropped us near a ghat from where we could visit Dwarkadheesh Temple. It's advisable to leave your footwear in the boat, and the boat will wait for you until you return. The temple is located less than 100 meters from the ghat. When we arrived at the temple around 4 to 4:30 pm, the darshan was closed. Consequently, we found a spot in front of the temple gate, and when the temple opened after 20-25 minutes, we had a clear view of Dwarkadheesh.

King of Mathura”
Dwarkadhish means King of Mathura.. Lord Krishna is called Dwarkadhish. An easily approachable temple by road . You have to get down at main road and go to temple in a narrow road by E rikshaw. In temple on either side is Male/ Female area . There are counters to collect coupons for Darshan with prasad easily available inside premises.

one of the oldest
Dwarkadhish Temple is one of the oldest and one of the most visited temple in Mathura. It's in narrow bylanes so better reach by auto or walking ...Parking of vehicles won't be easy. Always check the timings of opening and closing to avoid disappointment. You can leave your shoes at a nearby shop for just Re 1 per pair. 1 Needs to climb few stairs inside temple. Vishraam Ghat is at walking distance. Plenty of options to enjoy street food,rabdi,lassi etc

Dwarkadish Temple is must visit at Mathura. Its always crowded, do take care of your footwear. Best is to buy pooja thali from shops outside and request them to take care of your footwear. Beware of fake pandits for Pooja offering. Must visit for Hindu.
