Best Time to Visit Eturnagaram Wildlife Sanctuary

The Eturnagaram Wildlife Sanctuary in Warangal, Telangana, is an exquisite location for nature enthusiasts and wildlife photographers. The ideal time to visit the sanctuary is during the winter months from October to February. During this period, the weather is pleasantly cool, making it comfortable for visitors to indulge in safaris and witness the wildlife in their natural habitat. Moreover, several migratory birds flock to the sanctuary at this time, providing bird watchers with a fantastic opportunity to observe these species. The temperatures during these months range from 15°C to 30°C, which is ideal for day-long excursions without the discomfort of extreme heat or cold.

Visitors should consider avoiding the summer months from March to June, as the heat becomes quite intense in this region with temperatures soaring up to 40°C, which can be detrimental to the experience due the harsh conditions. Moreover, the monsoon season from July to September also poses challenges with heavy rains leading to water-logged areas, which may restrict movement and visibility of wildlife. Therefore, planning your visit between October and February also ensures that you have access to all areas of the sanctuary and can enjoy the outings in a more hospitable climate, enhancing the overall experience of the visit to one of Telangana's treasured natural reserves.
