By Air

If you're arriving by plane, the nearest airport is Cristoforo Colombo Airport (GOA). From the airport, you can:

  • Take a taxi directly to Genoa Cathedral. The ride should take about 15 minutes depending on traffic.
  • Use the Volabus service, which connects the airport with Genoa's main train station, Piazza Principe. From there, you can walk or take public transportation to the cathedral.

By Train

Genoa has two main train stations: Piazza Principe and Genoa Brignole. Both stations have good connections to the city center.
