Goygol National Park Tourism

Goygol National Park is situated in the western part of Azerbaijan, renowned for its scenic beauty and rich biodiversity. Founded in 1925 as one of the USSR's first national parks, it was established to protect the area around Lake Goygol, which was formed as a result of a massive earthquake in 1139 that created the lake by damming a mountain stream.
