How To Reach Insadong

By Subway: The most convenient way to get to Insadong is by using the Seoul Metropolitan Subway. You can take the Line 1 to Jonggak Station, exiting at Exit 3. Alternatively, you can take Line 3 to Anguk Station, exiting at Exit 6. Both stations are within walking distance of Insadong.

By Bus: Several buses service the area around Insadong. You can use any of the following bus numbers to reach Insadong: 109, 151, 162, 171, 172, 272, or 7025. The buses will drop you off at either the Anguk Station stop or the Jongno Police Station stop, both of which are close to Insadong.

By Car: If driving, the neighborhood is accessible via Jong-ro, which is the main avenue running through the Jongno-gu district where Insadong is located. Keep in mind that parking can be challenging in Insadong due to its popularity and the narrow streets typical of traditional Korean neighborhoods.

From Incheon International Airport: If you're coming directly from Incheon International Airport, you can take the Airport Railroad Express (AREX) to Seoul Station and transfer to the subway, or use an airport limousine bus that stops at nearby locations such as Changdeokgung Palace, which is within walking distance of Insadong.
