Jyotiba Temple is a revered Hindu pilgrimage site, residing at 3,130 feet above sea level on the Jyotiba hill, around 17 km northwest of Kolhapur city in Maharashtra, India. The temple, dedicated to Jyotiba (a form of the deities Brahma, Vishnu, Mahesh, and Jamadagni), is flocked by thousands of devotees annually, especially during the Chaitra Poornima fair. The present structure of the temple is said to have been constructed by Navajisaya, and it encases the idol of Jyotiba. The interior of the temple boasts of a vibrant and colorful mythological painting on the walls and a silver-framed sanctum. Around the temple, one can find small stalls selling religious paraphernalia and local snacks. The atmosphere during the festival times is electric and filled with devotional fervor.
