The Kadri Manjunatha Temple is an ancient historic shrine situated in the vibrant city of Mangalore in the Indian state of Karnataka. This sacred temple has its origins rooted in the 10th century, and it houses the deity of Lord Manjunatha or Lord Shiva. It is celebrated for its bronze idol, which is believed to be the oldest of the South Indian temples. Embraced by the rolling landscape of the Kadri Hills, the temple exhibits an impressive blend of architectural styles. It reflects the traditional Vijayanagara style in its construction and the later renovations bear the mark of the Kadambas style. The temple complex is also famous for its natural spring, 'Kadri Manjuna', which holds religious significance. Devotees often perform rituals and take a holy bath in the water, which is believed to possess curative properties. With its serene ambiance and religious importance, the Kadri Manjunatha Temple attracts pilgrims and tourists from all across the country.

This is a lovely old temple inside Mangalore city. The huge temple has the principal deity at the centre of large courtyard. The place was clean and organised for safe darshan!
