Nice & clean beach
Very nice and clean beach. We went to Tippu Sultan's Sultan battery watch tower on the banks of Gurupur river. Took a boat to cross the river and walked down for five minutes to the beach.

security guards are careless with people bringing their pets
Best beach in mangalore . . but only bad experience is that the guards are not careful. some people are bringing their pets especially dogs which is creating disturbance to the other people . especially when we go there with kids , these pet dogs are creating distraction. lguards should be strict with people bringing their pets .

Clean picturesque beach apt for travelers
I was amazed by how clean the beach was. The place was relatively litter-free. The berms / sand portion of the beach was smaller than most other beaches I have been to. There was a parking spot. It is family friendly and picturesque.

Excellent beach with sand and greenary in the surroundings.food stalls also exists.Fish fry with yummy taste also available in the good stalls.

Good vibes
Good place to spend some time soaking in the good vibes. Clean and family friendly. The view is beautiful with tall trees by the shore. Only downside I felt is, pretty much the entire beach emptied out in just minutes after sunset, no lights around.
