Kudroli Gokarnath Temple, also known as Gokarnanatheshwara Temple, is a Hindu temple located in the Kudroli area of Mangalore in the state of Karnataka, India. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva, who is worshiped as Gokarnatheshwara, the Lord of Gokarna. The temple's foundation was laid by Sri Narayana Guru, a social reformer and spiritual leader, in 1912, with the objective of abolishing the caste system and providing a place of worship for all communities, especially the Billava community who were not allowed in other temples. The temple architecture is influenced by the Dravidian style and features gopuram decorated with murals of various gods and goddesses. The annual Navratri celebration is a significant event here, with thousands of devotees gathering for festivities. The temple also boasts a large pond and an extensive courtyard, with intricate carvings and sculptures adorning the temple's exterior and interior.

Awesome Temple Complex in the heart of Mangalore
Huge complex that has a modern feel to it but yet there is tradition all around. Apart from the main temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, there are temples to Sri Krishna, Hanuman, Sai Baba, the Snake Gods..

Good, clean, temple.
Some locals consider this temple to be part of the Mangalore character. It is close to the center of the city: walkable. Clean premises.
