Khosh Bagh or Khushbagh, located in Murshidabad, West Bengal, India, is a historic garden and cemetery that dates back to the time of the Nawabs of Bengal. Covering an area of approximately 7.65 acres, this walled garden is situated on the banks of the Bhagirathi River, offering tranquil scenery amidst the lush greenery. It is renowned for being the final resting place of Siraj-ud-Daulah, the last independent Nawab of Bengal, along with other members of his family. Established by Nawab Ali-Wardi-Khan, the grandfather of Siraj-ud-Daulah, Khosh Bagh is known for its architectural elegance, combining Islamic and Bengali styles. The entrance is a testament to Mughal-influenced design, displaying finely crafted arches and domes. Inside, visitors can walk among the cenotaphs and mausoleums, which reflect the historical significance of the site. A serene ambiance makes it an ideal spot for contemplation on the era's history and its personalities.
