Jafarganj Cemetery, located in Murshidabad, West Bengal, India, is an old burial ground carrying the historical legacy of the Nawabs of Bengal. It is situated near the Hazarduari Palace and the Imambara in Murshidabad. This cemetery, spread over an area of 3.51 acres, is the final resting place of the members of the Nawab family of Bengal, Bihar, and Orissa, including Mir Jafar, who is infamous for betraying the Nawab of Bengal, Siraj-ud-Daulah, in the Battle of Plassey in 1757. The graveyard is managed by the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) due to its cultural and historical significance. It is an important site for those who are interested in the history of Bengal and the late medieval period of Indian history. The tombs are architecturally significant and bear inscriptions that are of immense historical value.
