By Air and Boat

The nearest airport to the Phi Phi Islands is in Krabi. Another convenient airport is located in Phuket. From both of these airports, you can take a taxi or a bus to the respective piers. Here's what to do next:

1. From Krabi: Head to Klong Jirad Pier to take a ferry to Ko Phi Phi Don.
2. From Phuket: Make your way to Rassada Pier or Sea Angel Pier for ferries to the island.

Ferries usually operate daily and the journey takes about 90 minutes to 2 hours. Check for up-to-date schedules and book your ticket in advance.

By Bus and Boat

Travelers can also take a bus from various locations in Thailand to the Krabi or Phuket piers. From the piers, the onward journey is by ferry as mentioned above.

Private Boat Hire

For a more private and flexible trip, consider hiring a speedboat or a private longtail boat from Krabi or Phuket. It's more expensive but offers a direct route and can be personalized to your schedule.

Important Notes for Travelers

• During peak season, ferries can be crowded; booking tickets in advance is wise.
• Keep updated on weather conditions as they can affect boat schedules.
• Always confirm the last ferry departure times to avoid being stranded.
• There are no airports directly on Ko Phi Phi Don due to its protected nature status.
