How to Reach Yonghe Temple (Lama Temple)

The Lama Temple, also known as Yonghe Temple, is a renowned monastery and temple of the Gelug school of Tibetan Buddhism. It's located in the northeastern part of Beijing and is easily accessible by various modes of transportation.

By Subway

The simplest and most convenient way to reach Lama Temple is via the Beijing Subway. You can take the:

• Line 2 to Yonghegong (Lama Temple) Station.
• Line 5 also stops at Yonghegong Station, which is located adjacent to the temple complex.

After exiting the subway station, you will find clear signs pointing towards the temple's entrance.

By Bus

There are several public buses that stop near the Lama Temple. You can take one of the following buses:

• Bus numbers 13, 116, or 117 to Yonghegong Station.
• Bus numbers 44, 800, or 820 to Guozijian Station.

By Taxi or Car
