Liberation War Museum Tourism

The Liberation War Museum in Dhaka, Bangladesh, pays tribute to the country's struggle for independence and the 1971 Liberation War. It is a repository of the historical artifacts, records, and the memories of the war. Established in 1996, the museum's exhibits are spread over several floors, displaying photographs, documents, and personal items of the martyrs, which tell the stories of sacrifice, bravery, and the painful birth of the nation. The museum serves as a research center and a platform for educational programs to foster the spirit of the liberation struggle in future generations. Visitors can explore various galleries that delve into pre-war history, the war itself, and the post-independence period. The museum is not only an archive but also an institution that hosts seminars, discussions, and cultural events to sustain the values of democracy and human rights in Bangladesh.
