While in ruins now, the fort once stood as a symbol of the grandeur of the Lodhi dynasty. It served as a military fortress and a place of governance over the region. Despite being in a state of neglect, the fort is an important part of Ludhiana's cultural heritage, offering insights into the region's past. The remains of the fort are spread over a large area and include crumbling walls and bastions.
