Maharaja Ranjit Singh War Museum Tourism

The Maharaja Ranjit Singh War Museum in Ludhiana, Punjab, India is a tribute to the martial spirit and valor of Punjabi soldiers. It was inaugurated in 1999 and spreads across 4 acres, established by the Punjab Government to foster patriotism and to highlight the sacrifices of war heroes. The museum showcases a vast array of exhibits including war trophies, history galleries, and an array of arms and armor. One of the most prominent sections is dedicated to Maharaja Ranjit Singh, the legendary leader of the Sikh Empire. There are also galleries focusing on the role of Punjab regiments in various wars throughout history, from the World Wars to the Kargil conflict. A light and sound show depicting war scenes is a major attraction. An aircraft and a model of the INS Vikrant warship are displayed outdoors to capture the might of the Indian defense forces.
