However, another great time to visit Ooty Lake is during the post-monsoon season from October to November. During this period, the rain-washed landscapes are vibrant with fresh greenery, and the water level in the lake is ideal for boating. For those who prefer serene and less crowded experiences, monsoon (from July to September) could be an option, but it’s important to bear in mind that heavy rainfall might disrupt outdoor activities during this time. Moreover, wintertime from December to February is also attractive as Ooty takes on a misty allure, though it can get quite chilly with temperatures dipping below 5°C.
