The Panbari Reserve Forest is a pristine woodland adjacent to the famed Kaziranga National Park in Assam, India. Enveloped by lush greenery, it serves as an extended habitat for the diverse wildlife, including the vulnerable species found in Kaziranga. Its eco-system is rich with an array of flora and fauna, which plays a crucial role in the biodiversity of the region. Panbari is particularly noteworthy for its birdlife, with numerous species of both resident and migratory birds. The dense forest canopy also provides shelter to various primates, deers, and the occasional big cat. This offbeat location is devoid of the usual tourist bustle, offering a tranquil retreat to nature lovers and wildlife enthusiasts. The forest paths present an opportunity for serene walks, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in the sounds and sights of the unspoiled forest environment. Although it lacks the fame of Kaziranga, Panbari Reserve Forest is a crucial conservation and biodiversity area and contributes significantly to the ecological balance of the region.
