Traveling to Punakha Suspension Bridge

• By Air: The nearest airport to Punakha is Paro International Airport. After you arrive in Paro, you can hire a taxi or take a bus to reach Punakha which is about 124 kilometers away. The journey usually takes around 3 to 4 hours depending on the road conditions.
• By Road: Punakha is connected to Thimphu, the capital of Bhutan, and is around 71 kilometers away. If you're coming from Thimphu, you can hire a cab or catch a local bus. The drive would take approximately 2 to 3 hours through mountainous terrain and may include crossing the Dochula Pass, which offers panoramic views of the Himalayas.
• Local Transport: Upon reaching Punakha, local taxis or hired vehicles can take you to the bridge. It is conveniently located and most drivers are familiar with the route to the Punakha Suspension Bridge.
