Rajpuri Caves, located in the Satara district near the hill station of Panchgani, Maharashtra, India, draw tourists for both their natural beauty and religious significance. These ancient caves are surrounded by many water ponds, which are believed to have healing properties. According to mythology, the Rajpuri Caves were used for shelter by the Pandavas during their exile period. The caves have a circular route for the devotees to walk around, known as 'Parikrama', and are also associated with the revered Ganges River as being one of its originating streams. Inside the caves, there are several shrines dedicated to Lord Kartikeya and Lord Shiva. The Rajpuri Caves hold special importance during the festival of Shivratri, attracting pilgrims in large numbers. Nice caves in Rajapuri town. It takes about 30 mins to reach there from Panchgani town. Inside the temple ladies are not allowed. Its just a short visit i.e. takes 10mins.

Not worth the visit
These caves are located on the route off from the main road to Mahabaleshwar. The caves are very old and have poor infrastructure. Once you take off the shoes then it not possible to wear them without..
