The Royal Thai Monastery in Lumbini, one of the most important Buddhist pilgrimage sites in the world, is best visited during the cooler months of the year, from October to March. During this period, the weather is mild and conducive for outdoor activities such as meditation, prayer, and exploring the sacred gardens and monuments. October and November are particularly vibrant due to the festivals of Dashain and Tihar which are widely celebrated across Nepal, providing a cultural feast for visitors.
