Metro

Take Line A (red line) of the Rome Metro and alight at Ottaviano-S. Pietro. The Sistine Chapel is about a 10-minute walk from the station.

Bus

Numerous buses go towards Vatican City. Buses 49, 32, 81, 982, 492, and 990 stop at Piazza del Risorgimento, which is a short walk from the Sistine Chapel.

Tram

Tram 19 stops close to Vatican City at Piazza del Risorgimento.

By Car:

Driving to the Sistine Chapel can be challenging due to limited parking. It's advisable to park further away and use public transportation. If you must drive, parking is available at Viale Vaticano, but spaces fill up quickly.

By Taxi:

Taxis in Rome are cream-colored and can be found at designated taxi stands. Indicate that your destination is the Vatican Museums or Sistine Chapel as they are located within the same complex.

By Tour Group:
