Best Time To Visit Srikakulam (Andhra Pradesh) In 2026 - 2027

Best Time to Visit Srikakulam, Andhra Pradesh

The most suitable time to visit Srikakulam, located in the northeastern part of Andhra Pradesh, is during the cooler months from October to March. During this period, the weather is generally pleasant with moderate temperatures that are ideal for sightseeing and exploring the region's rich cultural heritage. The average temperature during these months ranges from 15°C to 30°C, allowing visitors to comfortably enjoy the various tourist attractions such as the ancient temples like Srikurmam and Arasavalli Sun God Temple without the extreme heat that characterizes the summer months.

Moreover, planning a trip to Srikakulam during festive seasons like Sankranthi (January) or Ugadi (March/April) can offer a unique glimpse into local traditions and celebrations. However, visitors should be prepared for occasional showers as this region might experience unseasonal rain. Conversely, the summer months from April to June are usually very hot, with temperatures soaring above 35°C, which can be uncomfortable for those not used to the heat. The monsoon season from July to September brings heavy rainfall, which can affect travel plans and hinder outdoor activities, thus it's less ideal for those looking to explore the outdoor attractions of Srikakulam.
