How to Reach Wright Park, Baguio, Philippines

Wright Park is one of Baguio City's iconic tourist destinations, famous for its "Pool of Pines" and horseback riding area. Here's how you can reach this scenic park:

Via Private Vehicle

If you are driving from Manila, you can reach Baguio via several routes:

  • The North Luzon Expressway (NLEX) connecting to the Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway (SCTEX) and Tarlac-Pangasinan-La Union Expressway (TPLEX), which leads to Rosario, La Union. From there, you'll follow signs to Baguio City.
  • Another route is via Kenon Road, which is more scenic but also more challenging, with steeper roads and sharper curves.

Once in Baguio, head towards the Mansion House along Leonard Wood Road. Wright Park is directly opposite The Mansion.

Via Public Transportation

For those commuting:

  1. Take a bus from Manila going to Baguio. Operators include Victory Liner, Genesis Bus, and Partas, among others. The trip usually takes around 4 to 6 hours depending on traffic conditions.
  2. Once you arrive in Baguio, you can take a taxi to Wright Park. Taxis in Baguio are metered, so make sure the driver uses the meter to avoid being overcharged.

Other Tips

  • Wright Park is open to the public and there's no entrance fee.
  • Horseback riding is the main activity, so expect to negotiate with local guides if you're interested in this activity.
  • The park is usually busiest on weekends and holidays, so visiting on a weekday can be more peaceful.
