The cave system is a challenging yet rewarding experience for spelunkers, with its intricate passages and stunning limestone formations.
Krem Mawmluh

Living the Adventure
Exploring the caves of Meghalaya is not for the faint-hearted. It requires a certain level of fitness and courage to navigate the narrow passageways and slippery terrain. However, the thrill of discovering hidden chambers and underground rivers makes it all worth it.
It is recommended to hire a local guide when venturing into the caves, as they are familiar with the cave systems and can ensure a safe and memorable experience. Proper caving gear and equipment are also essential to ensure the safety of the explorers.
Cost and Accessibility
The cost of cave exploration in Meghalaya can vary depending on the cave and the services provided. Typically, guided tours range from INR 1000 to INR 3000 per person. It is advisable to book your tours in advance, especially during the peak tourist season.
