Best Time to Visit Abhishek Pushkarn (Coronation Tank), Vaishali

When planning a visit to Abhishek Pushkarn, also known as Coronation Tank, in Vaishali, Bihar, the ideal time to explore this historic site is between October and March. This period falls in the post-monsoon and winter seasons when the weather is most favorable. The temperatures during these months range from a pleasant 10°C to 28°C, making sightseeing comfortable and enjoyable. During these cooler months, the climate is generally dry with minimal rainfall, which means that the ancient ruins and the serene Coronation Tank can be enjoyed without the discomfort of excessive heat or the interruption of heavy rains.

Visiting during these months also coincides with several local festivals and events, which can enrich your experience. For instance, the vibrant festival of Chhath Puja, usually held in November, is a significant event in Bihar and worth witnessing. However, it's important to avoid the hot summer months from April to June when temperatures soar above 40°C, making outdoor activities quite challenging. Similarly, the monsoon season from July to September should be avoided due to the heavy rains which might disrupt your travel plans and restrict movement around the historical sites.
