Anggor Thom is an ancient temple city in Cambodia, which was the last and most enduring capital city of the Khmer empire. Established in the late 12th century by King Jayavarman VII, it is renowned for its grand monuments, including the famous Bayon Temple with its multitude of massive stone faces.

Angkor Thom is located in present-day Cambodia, to the north of the more famous Angkor Wat temple complex. It is part of the Angkor Archaeological Park near the city of Siem Reap.

Tourists can explore numerous ruins within Angkor Thom, including the iconic Bayon Temple, the Terrace of the Elephants, the Terrace of the Leper King, and the Baphuon Temple. There are also impressive gates at each of the city's cardinal points, decorated with carvings and sculptures.
