Atmeshwar Temple, located in the holy town of Pushkar in Rajasthan, India, is one of the less frequented yet profoundly sacred sites. This temple, dedicated to Hindu deity Lord Shiva, is famed for its architectural grandeur and spiritual ambiance. Unlike the bustle found in Pushkar's main streets and ghats, Atmeshwar Temple offers a tranquil retreat for worshippers and visitors alike. The temple is situated on the outskirts of the town, thus providing a serene environment that is perfect for reflection and prayer. The design of the temple includes intricate carvings and a unique underground section, which adds to its mystical charm. Pilgrims and tourists visit this temple not only to offer their prayers but also to marvel at the ancient heritage it represents. Pushkar itself is known for its religious significance, with the only temple in the world dedicated to Lord Brahma, making Atmeshwar Temple part of an important spiritual circuit within this holy city.

quite, not so crowded
I enjoyed the visit of this temple more than the more popular Brahma one, as this was not so crowded. I was in town during the camel festival, so finding quite places wasn't that easy.
