Best Time To Visit Baguio (Philippines) In 2026 - 2027

Best Time to Visit Bagio, Philippines

For those looking to explore Baguio, commonly referred to as the "Summer Capital of the Philippines," the best time to visit is from November to May. This period falls under the dry season, providing visitors with pleasant, cool weather optimal for outdoor activities and sightseeing. December to February offers the coldest months, where temperatures can drop as low as 8°C, providing a unique experience of a tropical location with a cool climate. This is ideal for tourists wanting to escape the heat of the lowlands. February also marks the month when the famous Panagbenga Festival (Flower Festival) takes place, bringing the city to life with colorful parades and floral displays.

If a quieter visit is your preference, consider scheduling your trip during the months of March or April. While still within the dry season, these months provide the added benefit of witnessing Baguio in full bloom without the peak tourist crowds that gather for the Panagbenga Festival. During Holy Week, Baguio becomes a spiritual retreat for many visitors, and although it can get crowded, it's an interesting time to experience the local culture and traditions. For those keen on experiencing outdoor activities like hiking, horseback riding, or exploring the city's parks and gardens, the dry and cooler weather during these months provides perfect conditions.
