Located in the historical city Munger of Bihar, Chandika Asthan is a significant Hindu temple, renowned for its spirituality and the influx of pilgrims it witnesses each year. The temple is dedicated to Goddess Kali and is considered one of the most sacred Shakti Peethas for Shaktipeetha worshippers. The best time to visit Chandika Asthan is during the winter months from October to March when the weather is pleasant, with temperatures ranging from 10 to 28 degrees Celsius. During this period, the climate is cool and comfortable, making it ideal for temple visits and participating in prayers and other religious activities.

The most auspicious occasion to visit Chandika Asthan is during the Navaratri festival, which occurs twice a year, once in the month of April (Chaitra Navaratri) and then in October (Sharad Navaratri). A visit during this time not only offers a spiritual experience but also allows one to experience the local culture and traditions at their peak.
