Asia's 1st wood factory
Very good place to visit, and it has great historical significance in india under British . They provide good insights into the history of Asia's 1st wood factory. Pros: Good memorabilia shops Good place to visit for history buffs Cons: Very small canteen No other cons

total waste of time
No guides, no guiding boards and we are not sure why we were suggested that trip... some of the machinery is not even working

Nice Experience
This is an active Saw Mill where you get to see the cutting of huge logs of wood. This ican be lifetime experience if you have an hour or two to spend.

Several attractions at one place (nearby)
Not just the mill itself is important for its historical importance, it offers several other places of attraction in that area. There are a bunker and a bomb pit from the World War II era and a forest museum as well. The canteen might be mainly for their staffs but was beautiful and had food at very cheap rate.
