Chaubatia Gardens is a renowned orchard located approximately 10 km south of Ranikhet in the state of Uttarakhand, India. Sprawling over 600 acres, it is known for its picturesque landscape and offers a panoramic view of the Himalayan peaks including Nanda Devi, Nilkanth, Nandaghunti, and Trishul. Established in 1900, the garden is famous for its extensive plantation of apricots, peaches, chestnuts, almonds, and apples among other fruits. It is also known for the research and development of plantations conducted by the government fruit research center located within the garden premises. The place doubles as a picnic spot because of its beautiful green meadows and well-maintained terraced fields, making it an ideal location for tourists to relax and enjoy the serene environment. Visitors can also buy fresh products and honey from the government-run outlet. The garden provides a mix of nature, with colorful flowers blooming, accompanied by the sweet fragrance of herbs, adding to its charm.
