By Air

If you're traveling internationally or from far away within Sri Lanka, the nearest major airport is Bandaranaike International Airport (CMB) in Katunayake. From the airport, Colombo Lighthouse is approximately 35 kilometers away.

Transportation from the Airport

  • Taxi: Prepaid taxis are readily available at the airport. You can book a taxi directly to the Colombo Lighthouse, which is the most convenient option if you're carrying luggage.
