The nearest airport to Lumbini is the Gautam Buddha Airport in Bhairahawa. International travelers can connect via flights to Kathmandu's Tribhuvan International Airport and then take a domestic flight to Gautam Buddha Airport. From there, it's a short journey to Lumbini by taxi or bus.
