Flying to Davao

If you are traveling to Davao from outside the Philippines, the most convenient way is by air. Francisco Bangoy International Airport, also known as Davao International Airport (IATA: DVO), is the main gateway to the city. Several airlines offer international and domestic flights to and from Davao. International flights may require a connection at Manila's Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) or Mactan-Cebu International Airport in Cebu before proceeding to Davao.

Domestic Flights to Davao

From within the Philippines, there are direct flights to Davao from Manila, Cebu, and other major cities operated by airlines like Philippine Airlines, Cebu Pacific, and AirAsia. Flight duration from Manila to Davao is approximately 1 hour and 50 minutes.

Sea Travel to Davao

For those preferring to travel by sea, inter-island ferries connect Davao to various ports in the Philippines. Journey times can be long but it is a more cost-effective option than flying.

Travel by Land
