Food History of Dhakeshwari Temple, Dhaka, Bangladesh

The Dhakeshwari Temple is an iconic Hindu temple located in Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh. As a religious site, the temple itself is not directly associated with a distinct culinary history. However, it is a centerpiece of cultural and religious activities where traditional Bangladeshi Hindu cuisine can be experienced, particularly during festivals like Durga Puja and Saraswati Puja. During these events, devotees offer Bhog (sacred food) to the goddess, which is later distributed among the worshippers.
