The Gandhi Memorial Mandapam in Kanyakumari, Tamil Nadu, India, stands as a distinguished landmark signifying reverence and commemorates the place where the urn containing Mahatma Gandhi's ashes was kept before immersion. It is situated near the confluence of the Indian Ocean, Arabian Sea, and the Bay of Bengal. This architectural marvel resembles an Oriya temple and was constructed to reflect the age at which Gandhi was assassinated; the central structure is 79 feet high, honoring his 79 years of life.
