The Thiruvalluvar Statue is a colossal sculpture located in Kanyakumari, the southernmost tip of mainland India, in Tamil Nadu. Standing at a height of 133 feet (40.6 meters) atop a small island near the confluence of the Arabian Sea, the Bay of Bengal, and the Indian Ocean, it symbolizes the wealth of knowledge and ethical values that the ancient Tamil poet-philosopher Thiruvalluvar contributed through his literary masterpiece, the Thirukkural. The statue was completed in the year 2000 and represents Thiruvalluvar’s 133 chapters by its height and stands on a 38-foot pedestal that signifies the 38 chapters of virtue in the Thirukkural. Accessible by ferry, the monument offers stunning panoramic views of the surrounding waters and the distant coast. It has become an iconic emblem for Tamil culture and draws innumerable visitors who come to marvel at its grandeur and the scenic beauty of Kanyakumari.

it's like statue of Liberty superb place , very पैनोरोमिक view surrounding is also very good neat and clean SEA, I LOVE THE PLACE

Small island l.. Good place
It's located on small island. Around 500 mtrs from main land. But it was closed due to maintenance when we have visited. But from boat we saw this. Overall I recommend this place.

Imposing statue
The statue which stands tall just beside the Vivekanda Rock is definitely a standout of Kanyakumari. It looks impressive even from afar, but regrettably the ferry no longer makes a stop at this statue..

Superb statue
Got so close and yet so far. The monument was closed due to maintenance. So only got a view from the ferry point and Vivekananda rock. Superb statue.
