Garud Tal Tourism

Garud Tal, one of the seven freshwater lakes known collectively as Sattal, is situated in the Nainital district of Uttarakhand, India. Nestled amidst dense forests of oak and pine trees, Garud Tal's pristine beauty embodies tranquility. It's at an altitude of about 1370 meters above sea level, surrounded by the majestic Himalayan peaks. The lake is named after Garuda, the mythical king of birds and carrier of Lord Vishnu.
