A walking trail, watchtowers and hides positioned around the lake provide an excellent opportunity to observe wildlife discreetly. Moreover, the area around Gavier Lake has been developed to promote eco-tourism, including reforestation projects and the creation of small islands to support bird nesting sites. The lake's efforts to preserve the environment can also be seen in the prohibition of motorboats, which helps maintain the serenity and cleanliness of the water.
